A designer challenge has just been shared with me and I have to share with all of you. One just the mention of the words "Designer Challenge" means some incredible ideas will be mustered up through out the incredible talent we have through out Calgary and two it means another fashion show on our calendars to attend! Yay.
$50 entry fee gives designers a choice of up to 3 vintage items from Cat’s Eye’s tattered & torn but begging to be worn collection of amazing vintage pieces. Fabrics are divine and funky.
60 days are given to de-construct and re create one amazing wearable piece.
Celebrity judges will choose winners at a run way show in one of Calgary’s premiere clubs where the designer will be asked to speak briefly on their choices and their process.
Items may then be sold, auctioned or kept by the designer.
Designers may use their own model, or self show, or Cat’s Eye can provide models.
